“ If you are a human (omnivore, carnivore or herbivore) and you enter this establishment you will not be disappointed! I will have to tell you that this was my first visit here since it changed into a country buffet... (It used to be a Bar-B-Que restaurant... AND A GREAT ONE AT THAT I MIGHT ADD!) My college roommate and his girlfriend came down for a visit from the Maryland area and they were very pleased! If you enjoy fried chicken, or fried fish or cube steak or rice and butter beans and yes even hoe cakes...then you are in the right place!!! I urge to come by and visit...THEY EVEN HAVE A SEAFOOD NIGHT!!! The people who work here are wonderful and polite. In closing, you should save some room for the desserts!!! ”
“ What a wonderful lunch we had today, meatloaf was the best we have ever had in a restaurant. Today the chicken fried steak was first class and the white gravy topped it off. Everything is old fashioned southern cooking. We travel 52 min at least once or twice a month to enjoy a great meal here. Staff is so attentive they make you feel like they want you there. ”
“ Very nice staff, good selection of food to choose from, and clean environment. The tables and seating are spaced out well. I tried the whiting, flounder, and shrimp which were decent. My sides were macaroni which was pretty good, cabbage and rice, this was ok, yams and fried okra. My favorite was the peach cobbler which had the perfect amount of spices added. I would try this establishment again. There was a pretty good variety if you have the taste for soul food. Also very affordable and under 20. ”
“ I stopped in for lunch. The food was delicious. Davie and Gerald are kind and courteous to everyone. Lucy one of the workers from the back is on point. She consistently makes sure the food bar is stocked and in order. The prices are good, Restaurant and bathrooms are very clean. A very welcoming atmosphere. I encourage everyone to stop in and experience the hospitality. You won't be disappointed. ”

“ Great place to dine in or get a plate to go. Down home style cooking and plenty of it with delicious desserts to top your meal off if you have room for one. You’ll be greeted at the door with a smile and seated with plenty of room around you as not to be crowded. Great friendly environment with a twist of the southern hospitality I would definitely recommend this place to anyone enjoys delicious food with a great atmosphere. ”
